Enter up to seven codons and amino acids of interest, specifying whether the retrieved sequences need to exactly match the entered mutations at major drug resistance mutations. Leaving this box unchecked will retrieve sequences that may include additional major mutations. Sequences, which can be restricted by viral species, group and subtype, will be displayed in a table listing major and minor mutations and treatment history as well as original literature references. User can choose to see a complete mutation list for each sequence under 'Additional Output Options'. User can choose to exclude or include sequences with unknown treatment histories.

To retrieve RT sequences of isolates containing selected mutations:

  • Enter one or more specific amino acid positions with optional mutations:
  • Enter whether the retrieved sequences need to exactly match the entered mutations at major NRTI and NNRTI mutations
  • Enter the species: HIV1, HIV2, or NHPL (Non-Human Primate Lentivirus)
  • Enter the group for HIV1: Main, CPZs or O
  • Enter the subtype for HIV1, Main: All subtypes, B, non-B, or a specific non-B subtype
  • Optional modifications to the type of data that are returned:
    • Complete treatment history (vs default listing of NRTIs and NNRTIs received)
    • Complete mutation list (vs default listing of NRTI mutations and NNRTI mutations)
    • Subtype
